Packing for Your trip
Space on the helicopter is limited so please only bring what you need. Your gear should fit in a daypack and a medium soft sided duffel bag. No extra-large hockey duffels or suitcases with wheels please. Only bring one pair of skis. They travel best without a ski bag. Food and alcohol should be boxed and sealed in liquor boxes. Bring a top sheet, pillowcase, sleeping bag & towel. Bedding can be rented for $25.
Travel to Staging and Helicopter Flight
Our staging area is 29 km north of Golden BC on Hwy #1 in Donald BC. (map attached) Please arrive at staging no later than 10 am MST on the day of departure. Be dressed ready to ski for the flight in. It’s a good idea have a bagged lunch handy in case of weather delays. The spectacular flight is 12 – 14 minutes.
